Coastal Alabama Community College students now have a direct transfer path to one of Alabama’s oldest universities, thanks to a new agreement.
During a March 5 ceremony, Coastal Alabama President Craig Pouncey and Alabama State University President Quinton Ross inked a deal to ensure a seamless transition for students who transfer from one to the other.
To seal the deal, Alabama State representatives awarded scholarships to two students expected to be among the first to head from two-year Coastal Alabama to the four-year university in Montgomery.
