The apparent exodus of qualified instructors is now reaching into higher education, Tulsa Community College officials say.
“Typically we need a little more than 200 adjuncts each semester,” said TCC Dean of Science and Mathematics Lyn Kent. “We still need 20 to 25 for the spring semester.”
Those figures are just for math and science, which are usually some of the most difficult positions to fill.
