The U.S. Department of Education will award Frederick Community College a $164,000 grant through the Child Care Access Means Parents in School program.
The grant will be used to provide students who are accepted into the program — which targets low-income parents — a voucher for child care at the college’s Carl and Norma Miller Children’s Center.
