The California Promise and the Oxnard 15 to Finish Promise are making the first two years of community college tuition free at Oxnard College.
The two programs together pay the per-unit cost of classes taken at the college for the first two years for full-time, first-time college students. The Oxnard College Promise began last year with an initial launch of one-year free tuition, now it’s expanded to two years using two funding sources. The second source is from Assembly Bill 19, California College Promise Grant.
