Button-making was not on the schedule.
Students wanting to show their support for Hurricane Harvey victims decided to give out “GCC Care” buttons to anyone who donated to the cause.
The buttons had to be made. So Broadie, president this fall at both Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport and Gateway, was called upon to pitch in.
