PLATTSBURGH — Biotech Energy was officially welcomed Tuesday to its new corporate headquarters at Clinton Community College.
The company bills itself as a full-service technology company that specializes in biomass thermal energy systems. Its goal is to allow clients to eliminate the use of fossil fuels for their energy needs.
The firm, which came to Clinton through the Start-Up NY Program, expects to invest $30,000 and create at least 10 new jobs in Plattsburgh.
It is leasing the Pines Cottage at the college.
