Cleveland Community College Students Help Cancer Survivors

Students in the Cleveland Community College esthetics program are doing their part to help women or families dealing with breast cancer this month.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. One of the more common forms of cancer, breast cancer affects about one in eight women in the United States. The disease is treatable, and breast cancer deaths have been on the decline for more than 30 years due to an emphasis on early detection, increased awareness and advances in treatment.

For the remainder of this month, the CCC esthetician program is offering free European facials to all women who have or are survivors of breast cancer, as well as their caregivers and family members.
