BATON ROUGE, La (LOCAL 33) – Louisiana Delta Community College has an extensive relationship with Entergy Louisiana. Over the past several years, the power company has consistently made $10,000 strategic investments in the LDCC WorkReady U Adult Education program and the Accelerating Opportunity program to help adults earn their high school equivalency and increase the number of adults who enter post-secondary education and earn credentials that lead to family-supporting careers.
In fall 2016, Entergy donated $250,000 to LDCC and its partners to develop, grow, and enhance LED Fast Start’s Certification 4 Manufacturing program. Through this donation, LDCC has expanded course offerings and increased student access to the renowned C4M training program.
