Did College Fail Its Faculty?

Nate Bork was sitting at a Grease Monkey last September, waiting on an oil change, when he found out that he was getting the ax. The caller on his cell was Bobby Pace, the chair of the social sciences department at the Community College of Aurora, who informed him that he was on speakerphone with Ted Snow, the dean of CCA’s School of Liberal Arts.

Bork had taught philosophy courses at the community college as an adjunct instructor since 2010 — usually one or two classes a semester.
