DOE Finds Security Lapses at N.J. College

WEST WINDSOR >> The U.S. Department of Education (DOE) does not like what it sees in regards to public safety at Mercer County Community College.

In response to a complaint that alleged the community college failed to comply with emergency notification requirements and covered up a criminal incident, DOE found “shortcomings in MCCC campus safety operations,” according to a June 28 DOE letter to the complainant that was obtained by The Trentonian.
