College of the Albemarle was ranked No. 1 among community colleges in North Carolina by an online resource for schools and careers.
Schools.com placed the institution first among the state’s 58 community colleges based on a 10-point scale weighing such categories as affordability, class offerings, facilities and online courses, according to a news release from the college.
