From Sen. Bernie Sanders to Hillary Clinton, the topic has graced the lips and ears of many in politics, but as usual, their words are rarely supported by action.
However, Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam has proven in recent years to be a leading advocate for higher education access, launching programs to ensure access to either free or low cost college education.
