Pennsylvania Schools Reach Out to Abandoned ITT Tech Students

Students of the recently closed ITT Technical Institute are being thrown a lifeline by Pennsylvania’s community colleges and other schools that will enable them to continue their classes or transfer.

Earlier this month, the Indiana-based ITT Educational Services announced it was ceasing classroom operations at its technical institutes in 39 states, including seven in Pennsylvania. That left 45,000 students — including about 1,200 in Pennsylvania — without a school.
