His executive order shifts more taxpayer money into apprenticeships, allowing people to learn while they earn a paycheck.
With Governor Scott Walker at his side, President Donald Trump signed an executive order changing the rules of apprenticeships Thursday, June 15th.
“So we’re empowering these companies, unions, industry groups, and federal agencies to go out and create new apprenticeships for millions of our citizens”, Trump said. Apprenticeships would give students a way to acquire new skill without having the crippling debt that often comes with a degree from four-year college.
