A total of 210 Pueblo graduating seniors have each been awarded a $2,000 scholarship using money from the marijuana excise tax. I congratulate them for continuing their education and wish them every success.
If I were starting college today, I’d join them in a heartbeat to tap into this available fund.
And just to be clear up front, since the scholarship program was voter-approved, I’m not proposing any changes.
