Faculty members at Minnesota’s community colleges could be getting nearly $2-million in back pay. Educators have filed more than $100,000 in claims for lost wages so far.
The union representing them has argued that Minnesota’s two-year institutions do not properly pay faculty who take on special assignments such as overseeing independent studies, labs, and internships.
