Blackfeet Community College Awarded Funding for Missing Persons DatabaseMarch 24, 2020 |

The Blackfeet Community College was awarded funding earlier this month for the creation of an online database that will help law enforcement and families access information on missing Indigenous people.
The funding was made possible by the Looping in Native Communities (LINC) Act, which created the LINC network grant that provides funding to tribal colleges and reservations without tribal colleges for the creation of an online database. The bill, sponsored by Sen. Jason Small, R-Busby, also created the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) task force.
