Clark State Community College plans to offer a bachelor’s degree for the first time next year as local manufacturers have increasingly sought skilled managers to fill a gap in their workforce.
A provision included in the state budget is expected to allow community colleges to offer four-year degrees for the first time, allowing Clark State to develop a Bachelor’s of applied science in manufacturing technology.
