The application period is open for those interested in receiving the Excelsior Scholarship, an aid program established by New York that helps state residents attend public colleges and universities, for the spring 2018 semester.
Students whose family incomes are no more than $100,000 are eligible to receive the Excelsior Scholarship in the spring. The income ceiling will increase to $110,000 in 2018-19 and $125,000 in the 2019-20 school year.
