Portland Community College may set up a new nursing program specifically to accommodate hundreds of students affected by ITT Tech’s closure in September.
Oregon’s Higher Education Coordinating Commission took the unusual step of “proactively” approving an associate’s of applied science degree in nursing at PCC during a meeting Thursday in Salem despite the fact the program is still being developed.
