Recently, speaking in Richfield, Ohio, President Trump said years ago, vocational schools “were not called community colleges, because I don’t know what that means.”
He is correct. In order to understand the value of community college, you have to familiarize yourself with those who sit in the classroom.
The National Center for Education Statistics reported that in fall of 2015, 6.5 million students were enrolled at two-year institutions of higher education. Over half of all of them were women.
