The federal government is wanting to fill millions of trade jobs.
The U. S. Department of Labor said it will expand apprenticeships across the country. It will give states more than $280 million to create and expand their programs.
The Alabama Community College System was granted $12 million. The federal government says more than 7 million skilled jobs are unfilled right now.
