State Loans Could Help College Build Dorms

CHEYENNE – Laramie County Community College finally may have a way to pay for a new residence hall.

The Wyoming Legislature passed Enrolled Act 67, which includes a new provision that will allow the state’s community colleges to borrow money from the state to pay for construction of new residence halls.

The bill still needs Gov. Matt Mead’s signature to become law, though both legislative chambers approved it.
