NORWICH — Rather than staging a walkout, educators and students at Three Rivers Community College on Thursday took part in a national “walk-in” to highlight the need for affordable higher education.
The event was part of a nationwide “walk-in to reclaim our schools” taking place in more than 2,000 locations Thursday. The local action in Norwich was organized by AFT Connecticut and the Congress of Connecticut Community Colleges, the unions representing professors in the state’s two-year public colleges.
