Virginia Students Picked for NASA Program

Some local community college students will be participating in a national engineering challenge from NASA.

According to Piedmont Virginia Community College, students have been accepted into the student launch program, an eight-month engineering projects challenging students to design, build and fly high-power rockets and experimental payloads.

“I am so proud of these students,” said Yanina Goddard, PVCC associated professor of physics and faculty adviser to the Piedmont Student Launch Team Club.
